In Ungheni, in Cristina Lupu's workshop, the future friends of babies and children from the Republic of Moldova are born. Cristina Lupu, the creator of the "Bubulino" brand, conquers the hearts of children with toys made of natural, non-allergic textiles that can easily be included in a story invented by the little ones.

With the support of the "EU4Moldova: Focal Regions" programme, financed by the EU and implemented by UNDP and UNICEF, Cristina Lupu purchased several equipment that help to develop her business: zigzag sewing machine, toy stuffing equipment, specialized furniture, and other equipment needed for making toys.

At the moment, her team consists of five employees and there are four models of toys on sale: elephant, bear, mouse and rabbit. Each character is dressed in easily removable clothing. The eyes, nose and mouth of these characters are embroidered, and some details are handmade and customized.

The toys come in a gift box with a handle, accompanied by a label in which details about the product are mentioned, and in the future the "Bubulino" brand aims to integrate the brand of the Ungheni region.

"Bubulino" toys are sold online and in two stores in Ungheni, and in the future the creator plans to market them in Chișinău as well.

In the future, Cristina Lupu plans to expand the toy collection with new models, colors, and new products for babies.
