Friland is a wholly owned subsidiary of Danish Crown that specialises in organic meat production with high animal welfare standards, selling organic beef and pork in both Denmark and internationally.

In the SDG Accelerator, Friland wants to work with how they can limit the carbon footprint of the individual farms and how this can be marketed to customers. They plan to do this by 1) a catalogue with initiatives and possibly incentive structures, 2) CO2 offsetting, and 3) marketing low carbon meat to consumers.
